Footer issues and  How to edit Footer in WP with 3 easy methods?

How do i customize my own ©Copyright mark ?

If you wish to have your own ©Copyright mark like this:

Please consider the following steps:


Step 1: Make sure “urus-footer”  is enabled !
Navigate to WPBakery Page Builder > Role Manager > urus-footer and check it like shown , don’t forget to Save changes !.


Step 2: Know what type of footer is currently in use.

Go to Urus > Theme Options > Footer and remember whatever is in the Footer Display, in this example is “Footer- Classic”.

Step 3: Start editing !

Head to Urus > Footer Builder > Edit. Keep in mind that you have to edit whatever footer you found in Step 2, in this example is “Footer- Classic”.

While you are in WPBakery Page Builder menu, look for Custom Heading. Then go Edit Custom Heading, It might take some time to load so be patient.

In Custom Heading Settings, change the Text to your own ©Copyright mark, “© 2020 Urus – All Rights Reserved” for example .then click Save Changes

Step 4: Finish the job !

Last but not least, remember to Update the footer !. When it said “post updated”, go to your website and check the result.

Why my footer disappeared and how to fix it ?

then no worries, this tends to happen when you activate WPBakery Page Builder and Elementor at the same time. Please consider follow  2 steps bellow:

Step 1: Locate the problems!

Go to Plugins > Active, as you can see, Elementor and WPBakery Page Builder are being activated.

Step 2: Deal with the problem!

Very simple, go ahead and deactivate one of them, wait until it’s done then the footer will be back !

How to customize a footer ? 

If you want to build your own Logo, ©copyright, etc . . . based on default templates, consider the following steps:

Step 4: The Footer Editor !
Be Careful ! this is what happened if you skipped the 1st step: overwhelmed with a bunch of uneditable code !

If you did everything correctly, here comes the Footer Editor:

Each footer has its own specific contents, feel free to add or modify them in your own style.

Step 4: finish the work!
Just don’t forget to update your footer afterwards ! You now have your own customized footer.
