1. Translate the theme
In order to translate the theme by using Loco translate plugin, you can follow these steps below:
Step 1: Download and install the Loco Translate plugin.
Step 2: On your Dashboard > Loco Translate > Themes. And click the theme which you want to translate.
Step 3: Click New Language link.
Step 4: Choose your language and choose a location is in languages/themes/. We recommend you don’t choose a location is in themes/theme_name/lang/, because after you update the theme all your custom files will be lost.
Step 5: Click Start Translating button.
Step 6: Click Source Text and enter the text you want to translate in France translation (example).
Step 7: Click Save button.
Step 8: Don’t forget to translate the required and recommend plugins.
Note: To update your language file when you updated the theme, you only click Sync button.
2. Translate a plugin
The easiest way to translate the plugin is by using the Loco Translate WordPress plugin. To use loco translate plugin, please see the steps below.
Step 1: Install Loco Translate WordPress plugin.
Step 2: Go to Loco Translate > Plugins and click a plugin theme. Example: antivetoolkits.
Step 3: Click New Language link.
If after you click New Language link, you see Template missing the warning. You only click Skip template link.
Step 4: Choose your language and choose a location is in languages/plugins/. We recommend you don’t choose a location is in themes/antive toolkit/lang/, because after you update the theme all your custom files will be lost.
Step 5: Click Start Translate button.
Step 6: Click Source Text and enter the text you want to translate in France translation.
Step 7: Click Save button.
Note: To update your language file when you updated the theme, you only click Sync button.
